The empty tomb brings hope, joy and peace. In their chat Emma and Rosemary talk about the faithfulness of God and how we can trust in His promises. Sometimes we need to remind ourselves of this.
Thank you Emma and Rosemary for this enlightening chat. Yes I do need to remember!!! That out of nothing our God
can bring HOPE, Peace, Joy and Love. That nothing is impossible for Him!!! Not even death!!! Not even the grave!!!
There has been a promise that I saw on a wall when I went with my husband to ask for assistance from a Christian
Charitable Organization. It is the Scripture verse from Jeremiah 29 : 11
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord.
Plans to prosper you ( for your welfare) and not to harm you, plans to give you HOPE and a future.
One day this scripture verse came to mind when I was venturing out feeling quite afraid as to where I was going and
what I was going to do. The day was one of those stormy, rainy days and I didn’t know what to expect as to whether I
would get to the location drenched or even make it to the destination! As I walked out of the apartment building I was met
by the brightest ray of sunlight, while I said this Scripture verse silently to myself! I can’t explain how uplifting this was for me!!!
When I see the sun shine I am always reminded of what our Lord Jesus said about Himself, ” I am the Light of the world”. And
HE IS!!! Not just the Light of the world but the LIGHT OF MY LIFE!!!
May the Lord bless you both greatly for this encouraging reminder… OUR LORD JESUS HAS RISEN AND HE IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH
AND THE LIFE!!!
