Let God Walk With You

Oh! So many forms to fill out, questions to answer and then to be faxed off to different departments…  Wanting past medical history, results and why I am applying for a concession.

It took me more than an hour to collate all the information.

I was a little confused about some of the questions and so stopped and asked my husband for some help. Now I’m fairly intelligent but at the end of this exercise I felt exhausted. Mentally and emotionally. I’m so glad in God’s kingdom that there is no confusion, and His ways always brings you peace.

As described in the 1st book of Corinthians:

For God is a God not of disorder but of peace.

1 Cor 14:33 NRSV

Another translation states:

For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.

1 Cor 14:33 ESV

And then in the 2nd book of Timothy:

Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.

2 Tim 2:7 NRSV

Just don’t do what I did, ladies. Spent the whole time filling out the forms in my strength and not asking for the assistance of my God.

Remember God wants to be involved in our whole life – the everyday, nitty gritty so invite Him in.

Oh, I’m sure I would have finished it faster and been very peaceful at its completion.

For that’s what God does – makes life easier! He walks with us if we let Him.

May these jottings from my journal inspire you to believe in and fall in love with Christ- the hope of the world, as stated in Jeremiah 17:7, ‘Blessed is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord and whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord!’

Love

Rosemary

Every week groups of ladies meet together to chat about the things I raise in my weekly blog post and to chat about life in general. We call these ‘Heart Connect’ groups.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS

What are the different everyday tasks that you have completed lately? Were any of them frustrating?

Did you let God in to those everyday tasks? If not, why didn’t you invite God to help you?

What could you do differently next time when it comes to inviting God into the nitty gritty of your day?

After a daunting medical appointment yesterday when I was faced with info that I didn’t want to hear and the usual invasion of privacy combined with the RUDENESS of a receptionist I’m finding it just TOO hard to leave it to God. I WISH I could but the tears seep out.
