His Love is Forever
I have just come back from a beautiful celebration of a friend’s Mum’s life. The family were naturally sad but also celebrating the joy of her life and the legacy of what she left behind. Full life for her is just beginning with the eternal life with Jesus Christ in heaven. One we all desire to attain.
Between my tears at the Church and the prayers on my lips I felt a comfort that the Lord watches over the whole span of our lives.
Whatever unfolds in the future He never leaves us.
If we trust in Him and trust to Him our plans, our dreams, our future we know that He will bring the perfect plans for our life to completion. Our Lord exerts His influence and brings about things way beyond what we could think or imagine.
As stated in Ephesians:
Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, …
Ephesians 3:20 NRSV
He can do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think or imagine.”
His love for us is forever and cannot be broken. We must believe His provision (However He does it.) His protection belongs to all who call on the name of the Lord.
He Saves.
The material things are only a smidgen of what He gives to us.
He gives us purpose for our life. He shows us the way to live and so where we will flourish and be nurtured by Him. Again, not necessarily in material, earthly things but in Spiritual Godly things that will last.
This woman’s life when shared today by her Son, was a giver of life to so many in the 80 years she was here on earth.
A woman of God, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a carer at a creche, a cook, a baker, a carer at an aged care home, one who delighted others with a wonderful sense of humor, a fighter, a defender, the list goes on…
It made me think, truly think of my life and what I was giving to others. What more could I do? Was I doing what God wanted of me? Or was I avoiding His Voice? Running from His Spirit asking me to …….?
May these jottings from my journal inspire you to believe in and fall in love with Christ- the hope of the world, as stated in Jeremiah 17:7, ‘Blessed is the man who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord and whose hope and confident expectation is the Lord!’

Every week groups of ladies meet together to chat about the things I raise in my weekly blog post and to chat about life in general. We call these ‘Heart Connect’ groups.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
What kind of life are you living? Is it one that you are proud of?
What do you believe God is guiding you to do in your life right now?
How can you follow that prompting of the Holy Spirit?

As always Thank You Rosemary, this is a great reflection that all of us mature aged women need to meditate on, and ask our Father.
God Bless you and yours always,

Rosemary I didn’t expect my life would be the way it is… I had desires that my husband and I would together do what our Good Lord God Jesus wanted us to do for our Great Loving Lord God, but it has not happened yet… My son despite going to Catholic Schools, he had friends who did not
believe in God. These friends, at the current circumstances, did not end well for them at all… My son is an unbeliever too…However I will keep praying for all my family, all the relatives as did St Monica, who persisted praying for many, many years, and her prayers were answered. She, a very devoted faithful woman towards our Great Lord God, had extraordinary patience and persisted in praying. As our Great Lord God Jesus said to us to pray consistently and not to lose heart, as in Luke 18 :1 – 8…Eternal rest grant onto her O Lord, and let perpetual light be upon her and may she rest in Your Peace and Your Love forever I pray… May this woman whom you know Rosemary, may she rest in peace and love with our Great Loving Lord God. May our Great Loving Lord God continue to bless you Rosemary, Bruce, Emma and all good workers in the ministries, including Impacters!!!
In Christ’s Love

There is always room for improvement. But if we believe that we only come to God by his grace, I am a bit confused. I hope that I am doing what God wants me to do.
I think he wants me to get my house in order, to find him in everyday places, to listen for his voice in silence, in the words of hymns, in music, in the voices of others, to listen, listen, listen.
First I have to hear or feel the promptings, he has been a bit quiet of late. Or I haven’t been taking enough notice. Not sure.
