• The Struggle is Real

Are there times right now in your life where you are struggling? With the economy and all the price hikes. How are you going to cope? Are there relationships in your life that are not completely whole? Too much unforgiveness, disunity and it makes you literally feel sick. Some of the disharmony has escalated so bad that family members are not even talking to each other, and you often don’t know why. How to fix it? You rack your brain often. Friendships that used to be a joy have in some areas soured and again you don’t fully know why. The loneliness you feel seems accentuated lately, unsure how to…

  • God’s Grace for Us

Do we desire things?  We all want the best for our lives. For our loved one’s lives. We as Christians desire God’s grace. The grace to stay positive when negativity or hardship comes our way. The grace to have courage when we feel very weak. The grace to love the unlovable. The grace to not judge others. The grace to bring unity to areas where there is disharmony. Oh, we need His grace in all areas of our lives. Grace refers to God’s favor. God’s saving power to all who call upon Him. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it…

  • Growing my Inner Self

There are so many different diets out there in “diet land.” Some contradict others. Some are extreme, others fit into your normal lifestyle. I’ve tried a few over the years when I wanted to fit into a certain dress for a special occasion. Nothing drastic. Mainly watching what I eat and when. All healthy nutritious foods. Now as I am getting older, I want to provide my body with the vitamins that are necessary in my diet. The extra calcium for my bones, the vitamin D for my muscles and the foods that are anti-inflammatory to reduce the Arthritis as much as possible. Then of course the normal Vitamin A,…

  • Being Refreshed

Have you ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time? Well just the other day I was. Some of my granddaughters were in a spa and I was outside on a chair watching them while reading a book. They were playing with a pool noodle. One of them was filling it with water from one end and blowing it out from the other. She was aiming at her sister, but she dodged it. So, guess who got sprayed with a fast propulsion of water. ME! After I stopped screaming from the shock. I laughed out loud – it was very funny. Luckily my book had a laminated plastic…

  • The Joy of Easter

Easter Sunday is over, but the Easter Season lasts for 40 days to the Ascension. This year more than ever I feel very celebratory. I feel a joy from the Resurrection more than usual. An understanding of what our Lord truly has done for us. We have been given back our hope to live forever! It was lost to us but because of Jesus’ sacrifice for us on the Cross we have received the best gift ever. An eternal life with Him forever, starting now. I can live with expectation of the best. Loved completely. Never forsaken. Totally forgiven. Mercy from our God every morning. Fully satisfied with the life…
